This Month Hidden Jewel in the community is:
I happened across this great little hidden jewel after taking my then 4 month old to a local Storytime at Multnomah County Library. I decided to take a walk just a few steps away to the Whole foods and immediately noticed a few children’s items neatly place in front of the cute little boutique store. My eyes lit up with excitement! A new mom and shopping… What could be better I thought to myself!
Well, even more to my amazement the staff was just so friendly and inviting. My daughter was wet and needed to be changed and they let me use the back of the store to nurse her and change her. Folks, I could go on and on about this place, but you have got to visit it for yourself. Needless to say, 11 months later, I’m still shopping there.
So, let me tell you about some of the great items I’ve found at Beanstalk PDX
An entire set of the American Girl Addy book collection series. (We had just recently gone to Chicago and purchased ZOIE An American Girl doll) so this was a score for us!
Hunter boots ( like new) $29
Northface fleece jacket ($10)
Needless to say, if you are in the Portland, Oregon area and have children this is a great place to visit. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. Great low prices, high quality products including locally made goods and a great staff. They also consign, trade and sale.
BeanStalk PDX receives Urban Mommy’s Hidden Jewel thumbs up!
